Join Poets for the Planet in writing an ecopoem by candlelight in preparation for Earth Hour to encourage action on the climate and ecological crisis.This event is a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals across Europe and contribute to a greener future. Save the date and get ready to be inspired! We will provide prompts and poems for you to use. Remember you will need a pen, notebook and candle (or other non-electric light).

Emma Woodford

Emma Woodford is a Belgian/Brit who is passionate about reading and writing poetry and hosting the occasional poetry workshop. She is a member of Poets for the Planet and Klimaatdichters. A runner up in the world renown Gingko Environmental Poetry Prize, Emma has been published in e-journals such as Black Bough Press, Allegro Poetry, Bindweed Magazine and Quarter Press. Her debut collection of poetry, Wingless I Watch was published by Hedgehog Poetry Press.
