In this interactive three-hour session, inspired by The Little old lady who wasn’t afraid of anything by Linda Williams, children learn about story structure, onomatopoeia, suspense, descriptive language, and multimodal storytelling (text+art). The session is intended for ages 6-8. They will complete the following learning objectives: ★ Understand and imitate the onomatopoeia, repetitive structure and suspense of 'The little old lady who was not afraid of anything' ★ Develop an original short story using creepy sounds ★ Express some story elements visually through body percussions ★ Share and perform their story orally ★ Illustrate and write own short story using repetitive structure Led by Carol Vallet, an experienced primary school teacher with over 20 years of international experience in developing creative writing projects in schools. The workshop takes place in Pianofabriek, room Calcutta.

Booking and cancellation policy After registration you have 14 days in which to change your mind up until 2 weeks before the date of the workshop. Within these 14 days you are entitled to cancel your enrolment without providing a reason by sending an email to info@wordcraft-collective.eu. After this, your enrolment is definite and no refund is possible. In the case there are fewer than 6 participants enrolled, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. We will undertake to inform all enrolled participants of the cancellation. In this case, we will refund all participants the full amount of their fees paid.
